Duties and Responsibilities:
Industrial Product Program Logistic Operations Activities
Maintain communication with industry partners.
Work directly with program partners.
Develop reports and program templates.
Assist the IP Manager with supply chain management (e.g. movement of product and supplies nationwide from the grading stations to the processing plants).
Assist the IP Manager with storage and production output management initiatives, importation assessments and authorizations.
Maintain and track supplies inventories.
Support Daily Operations of the IP program.
Assist and provide complete back up to the IP Coordinator role
Manage Third Party Verification Services
Act as the primary point of contact for Third Party Verification (TPV) services.
Meet with industry partners to determine verification services requirements.
Develop and implement program procedures.
Oversee the Industrial Product Release Tracking (IPRT) program.
Maintaining Strong Relationships with External Stakeholders
Visit field locations for IPP liaison. (e.g. processing stations, storage facilities, transport companies)
Assist with andor Manage Projects and Coordinate Resources
Conduct project management activities, including developing and maintaining project plans and documents.
Abilities
Knowledge of Logistics/Supply Chain practices and trends analysis.
Knowledge of business management practices and trends.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong customer service skills
Ability to bring forward and steer through initiatives for program improvements
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience with various software applications used to collect, analyze and report data. Use of Tableau would be considered an asset.
Ability to work in both union and non-union environments with industry partners at all levels.
Education & Experience
Minimum: Relevant Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in Logistics or Supply Chain
2 – 3 years experience in logistics or a supply chain role.
Experience with project management would be an asset
A logistic designation such as P. Log or CITT will be considered an asset
