Eggsmart Looking for Line Cook at Maple, ON Full Time

Be a part of our Eggsmart team at 190 McNaughton Road East. We are looking for a full-time line cook who wants to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with a new kitchen. This is a Monday-Friday weekday position, however you will be required to work 1 weekend per month. If you are enthusiastic, hardworking and friendly, join our team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up stations and collect all necessary supplies to prepare for service

• Prepare a variety of foods

• Arrange sauces and supplementary garnishes

• Cover, date and correctly store all food prep items

• Notify owner in advance of likely shortage

• Use food preparation tools in accordance with recipe manual

• Close the kitchen correctly and follow the closing checklist for kitchen stations

• Keep the work area clean throughout the shift

• Ensure grills, stove top, walk-in cooler and freezers are clean and ready for use for the next day

• Make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately

• Consistently use safe and hygienic food handling practices

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have minimum of 1 year experience in a restaurant setting

• Excellent time management skills

• Personable and friendly attitude

• Must be able to work well under pressure and in a team environment

• Must be able to work weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
