IMMEDIATE OPENING: Medical Office Administrator (MOA)
Monday – Friday, typically 7:30AM – 4:00PM
THE ROLE:
This position provides administrative support to a busy occupational health clinic. As Eisan’s Medical Office Administrator, you are comfortable supporting physicians and/or nurses with routine clinic administration like greeting patients/clients, booking appointments, patient follow-up as required, and handling confidential medical information electronically.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greet and direct employees, patients, and staff. Support clinic communications like main phone line, fax, and general email inbox. Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries.
· Clinic data entry, handling medical test results and associated follow up.
· Schedule patients for tests and treatment, as well as confidentially maintain patient records and charts.
· Provide administrative support for records management, and supply ordering.

You’re able to stay productive in a medical clinic work environment and you can adapt to change effectively. You have experience in an administrative role, and you present a positive and professional image to co-workers, patients, clients, and suppliers. You understand the importance of adhering to established standards and bring a high level of professionalism to your work. Along the way, you’re dependable, timely and have a can-do attitude. While you’re excellent at managing your own time and comfortable completing assigned tasks, you’re aware there is a bigger team that you are part of at Eisan, and you’re there to pitch in if others on the team need help.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Diploma or Certificate in Medical Office Administration, or equivalent education or experience
· Excellent communications skills by phone, email, and in person
· Excellent computer skills and high comfort with technology
· Knowledge of medical terminology an asset
· Prior experience with Netcare, Med Access, and Cority preferred
· Proficient in English (written and spoken)
