Elastochem Looking for Receptionist/Administrative Assistant at Brantford, ON Full Time

SCOPE: Reporting to the Office Manager, the incumbent is responsible for answering the phone, greeting guests, filing, printing labels etc, and various other tasks as assigned by the Office Manager.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answer the phone and direct calls to the appropriate person.
• Greet visitors and announce their arrival to the appropriate person.
• Print labels, bill of Lading and various other documents for the Office Manager.
• Order raw materials, packaging materials and production and safety supplies as required.
• Order supplies for the office, laboratory and any other items requested from managers.
• Prepare, print, and send purchase orders for various items and services to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Update and maintain approved vendor list.
• Responsible for filing various documents.
• Log receipt and documents of any in coming samples.
• Perform duties according to written procedures.
• Attend all training sessions and work in accordance with the requirements of the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Follow all rules and procedures established at Elastochem Specialty Chemicals Inc.
• Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Fully Fluent in English
• Good math skills
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented with complete accuracy on all work
• Experience using Word, Excel and Quick Books
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail Oriented

NICE TO HAVE:

• Some French language ability
• Minimum college diploma in business field or equivalent experience
• SAP

Full company benefits

$18 – $19 per hour based on experience.
