Elation Education Early Learning Centre is looking for an Early Educator to work in the Caterpillar Toddler room with 1 and 2 year olds!
– Job type: Full Time
– Hours of work: 8 hours a day shifts between 7:30 pm – 5:30 pm, 5 days a week
– Start date: Jan 3, 2023
We are conveniently located in Coquitlam near IKEA and Braid Skytrain Station, and we offer a great working environment. The classroom has 8 infant toddlers.
This is a permanent full-time annual position, with 2 weeks holiday, competitive compensation, benefits and professional development hours (after probation) and a $4 an hour Wage Enhancement offered by the BC government. The $23 an hour already includes the wage enhancement.
Qualifications and Skills
Required qualifications:
– A valid BC Early Childhood Educator License to Practice, Infant Toddler certification is an asset
– A valid First Aid/CPR Certificate
– Criminal Record Check
Some skills that we are looking for:
– An Early Childhood Educator who can bring enthusiasm and creativity to our classrooms
– An educator who can plan and implement daily activities that support the development of children,
– A caring individual who is very loving, resourceful, and independent,
– must love working with toddler ages 1-2 years old
-must be able to work cooperatively with other teachers
– And have a positive disposition and organizational skills
-$19 an hour + $4 wage BC wage enhancement = $23 an hour
