Hours: Monday-Friday 7:45am-4pm
Responsibilities:
The Medical Receptionist will answer the phones in a professional and timely manner, check and return voicemails, book appointments, and respond to inquiries. S/he will deal with labs and test results, check patients in and deal with patients who have missed their appointments. They will answer doctor and patient requests showing empathy and decorum in their all their interactions with patients, physicians, as well as their fellow co-workers. They may be assigned other pertinent duties as required.
For each shift, the Medical Receptionist will be assigned a series of tasks s/he is to accomplish, keeping in mind these duties might change throughout the day (or across days), depending on circumstances.
The ideal candidate will be a true “team player” and strive to accomplish the work as part of an efficient team. This flexible approach will ensure tasks are completed in order of priority and allows for even workload distribution.
