Emil Anderson Properties (EAP) and Dilworth Homes (DH) are Okanagan-based real estate development and residential construction companies within the Emil Anderson Group, specializing in hillside land development. Our strength comes from having the people in place who understand the entire development spectrum as we self-supply our own neighborhood infrastructure, building construction, sales and marketing. Our portfolio includes dynamic real estate developments and/or homes under construction in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Armstrong, Summerland, Chilliwack and Hope.
We are currently seeking a Graphic Designer to join the EAP/DH Marketing Team, based out of our Kelowna office. The ideal candidate will be uniquely skilled in crafting creative and strategic marketing concepts into engaging visual content, that connects our targeted demographic groups with the product that we bring to market.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, and working collaboratively with the Marketing Coordinator, the Graphic Designer role will naturally include:
Creative design of all print design projects, including collateral, signage, 3D renderings, advertisements, digital graphics and brochures
Brand identity development, including illustrations, logos, pantone colours and brand applications
Development of renderings, utilizing an internal software rendering program
Development of video content, utilizing industry-standard editing software
Tracking of all advertising submissions, and preparation of production ready files
Coordination with internal teams, including marketing, sales, development, project management and construction
Coordination with outside partners, including agencies, printers and signage suppliers
Assistance with special events and Showhome/Discovery Centre set-up, as needed
Qualifications
Must have:
A strong portfolio of graphic design projects
Intermediate/senior level experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Intermediate experience with Canva
Strong and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Attention to detail and review of marketing materials
Self-motivated to create outstanding outcomes
Exemplify a positive attitude and maintain a professional image
Ability to work independently towards achieving predetermined goals and objectives;
Ability to work well under pressure and juggle multiple and changing deadlines.
Preferred
Skills in the following areas are considered an asset:
Past work experience in the real estate development industry and/or within a marketing agency environment
Experience with rendering software
The Graphic Designer role is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with seasonal weekend work, as required.
