EMPLOYD GROUP Looking for Automotive Detail Manager at Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada Full Time

We are looking for a Vehicle Detail Manager to join one of our clients in Etobicoke, ON, and oversee the cleaning and maintenance of the vehicles. You will be responsible for ensuring that our vehicles are in pristine condition and ready for delivery to our clients. You will also communicate with service advisors, technicians, and clients to facilitate auto-placement and provide excellent customer service.

Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Previous experience as a vehicle detailer or manager, preferably in a car dealership setting.
• Knowledge of vehicle cleaning products, equipment, and techniques.
• Ability to perform and supervise all detailing duties, such as washing, buffing, waxing, vacuuming, steaming deodorizing, and applying protective agents to vehicles.
• Ability to perform and document vehicle inspections and report any damages or issues.
• Ability to move and park vehicles, deliver vehicles to correct locations or pick up owners or drivers if needed.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities:

• As a leader, you’ll be expected to train, motivate, and set expectations with your team.
• Maintain safety and ensure that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Participate in workplace organization.
• Maintain and order supplies when they are getting depleted.
• Recognizing deadlines and adhere schedule.
• Receive daily and prioritize detailing schedule and communicate back when expected timelines.
• Make repairs and recommendations for vehicles to Service Advisor staff.
• Maintain shop equipment and tracked shop tools and equipment.
• Maintain relationships with customers, valuable suppliers, and outside contractors.
• Attend shop meetings to gain knowledge.
• Run the POS system and complete Work Orders/Customer Transactions.
• Assist when required in training, supervising, and evaluating employees.
• Prepare employee work schedules.
