We are looking to add an Inspector for our construction projects (Pipeline Construction Inspector I*), to our dynamic operations team. This role is responsible to ensure safety and pipeline integrity standards are followed on construction projects and related activities.

There are a number of locations in Ontario where these roles are located (Markham, Oshawa, Barrie, Brampton, Scarborough, Thorold, and Ottawa). What You Will Do
Responsible to ensure installations are in compliance with all applicable codes & standards (internal & external).
Responsible for coordination of day to day activities related to construction projects including records, status reporting, and financial processes.
Collaborate with partners for recommended changes to construction drawings/details to improve costs and installation efficiencies.
Inform Supervisor to provide input and monitoring of potential financial impacts due to on site scope of construction project changes or field related issues.
Oversight of work performed by contractors.
Who You Are
You will have the following:
Related degree or diploma and 0-2 years of previous experience (construction or survey experience, preferred) OR 2+ years of previous field operations and/or construction supervisor experience. An equivalent combination of formal education and experience may be considered.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proven knowledge of customer focus, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
Pipeline Inspectors Ticket (Ontario GPI) is desired.
Experience with Workday, Maximo, iviewer, GIS, EGIS web and/or EGIS edit is an asset.
Experience with GPS data collection is considered an asset.
Locate experience is desired.
Solid understanding of the contracts under which contractors are working, Enbridge policies and procedures, and business processes in Operations and other related business units is considered an asset.
Preference will be given to individuals with 1 – 3 years of current inspection experience, though not required.
Working Conditions
This role is comprised of field (90%) and office (10%) work. A valid G class Ontario driver’s license and maintenance of a responsible driver’s abstract is required. #joinourteam
