As part of an elite team, the Senior Manager, Human Resources will be responsible for building upon the foundational structure and processes already in place. These processes are dedicated to the development and implementation of Human Resources services and programs covering human resource planning, recruitment & selection, compensation & benefits, training & development, annual assessments, employee engagement and health & safety for a rapidly growing technology company. The successful candidate will be a hands-on individual prepared to do what is required within a fast-paced environment to get the job done. We anticipate additional insights, expansion, and refinement to current plans to help Endeavour continue to excel and exceed expectations.
You will take a lead role in shaping Endeavour’s organizational development strategy while acting as a trusted advisor to all areas of the business. You have experience working in an advisory as well as a functional/hands-on role and are comfortable in both areas. You have experience with short-term and long-term goal setting, mentoring, and one-on-one coaching, as well as the implementation of management processes and best practices that will support the growth of the business and create a foundation for a high-performance culture.

Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate should have demonstrated progressive experience in the Human Resources profession within a growth-oriented technology and professional services environment. Some of the specific requirements include:
Drive operational excellence in corporate HR initiatives, processes, and practices in the company.
Provide business-focused solutions that will include talent acquisition, onboarding & orientation and retention, employee and leadership development, total compensation, employee advocacy and organizational effectiveness (assessment, resource management, rewards, and recognition).
Manage and mentor Endeavour’s HR Generalist by providing stretch goals and projects to build their business acumen, opportunity to work with senior leadership, encouraging ongoing learning, and providing frequent constructive feedback.
Execute major initiatives that will require strong HR, project management and functional expertise in most or all areas of Human Resources.
Plan, design, implement, and administer as necessary all phases of Human Resources activity and provide expert advice to management on a wide range of human resource issues, ensuring that HR approaches are continually aligned with the business metrics, goals, and strategies.
Lead the overall planning and execution of talent acquisition activities to maximize candidate pipeline, including designing, developing, and implementing compelling company recruitment campaigns.
Provide guidance and interpretation to managers at all levels, and employees on employment policies, practices, and procedures.
Lead the effort on ensuring HR strategic planning, processes and programs are meeting the needs of the business, providing management tools, and continuously evaluating trends and processes that can be incorporated into the business.
Lead HR audits to ensure compliance with documentation, policies, procedures, and regulations.
Provide reports to management regarding HR activities, objectives, and key results. Perform data analysis and generate reports or presentations to effectively communicate updates.
Act as a resource for employees and managers. Participate, recommend, and establish new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve the efficiency of the Human Resources department and services performed.
Lead requirements gathering, sourcing, and implementation of any future Human Resources tools and processes
Qualifications
8 – 10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a technology or professional services environment including experience in multiple areas of HR such as Recruitment & Retention, Training & Development, and Organizational Development.
Proven knowledge and experience with organizational effectiveness and fostering a high-performance culture.
Knowledge and application of relevant employment legislation and legal practices across Canada.
Effective, clear, and precise communication through written, verbal, and engaging presentations.
Strong coaching, mentoring and facilitation skills.
Proven ability to develop effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
Ability to diagnose and successfully handle complex employee engagement and organization development issues.
Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, changing environment.
Ability to maintain information in confidence and exercise good judgment is essential.
Experience providing HR support to multi-site locations.
Willing and able to travel as required.
Education
University degree in a related discipline (i.e. Business, HR Management) or equivalent experience required
Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designation is preferred
