In addition to being responsible for the functions typically associated with an HR role, this person would be a key player with respect to recruitment, the local management of our HRIS system, as well as providing support to various HR programs and initiatives. They will also provide support to the executive team, especially during quarter end to compile the necessary board reports for the organization.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Educates and advises managers on statutory or regulatory requirements in one or more areas of staff management such as compensation, benefits, recruitment, and performance management
Provides life cycle employee management from onboarding through termination
Manages benefits administration to include employee enrollments and termination, claims resolution, change reporting to carriers and brokers, and timely communication of benefits information and eligibility to employees
Responsible for managing local employee records on the HRIS system. Completes regular data audits to ensure 100% data accuracy
Manage support requests for the HRIS platform and regularly conducts data audits
Manage annual compensation review including salary, bonuses and commissions
Provide support to global HR and recruitment initiatives, as required
Supports the global quarterly reporting process and creates reports for the executive team, as required
Other duties as required
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
3 – 5 years (minimum) of HR Generalist experience
Previous experience using an HRIS platform, ideally BambooHR
Strong organizational skills and able to work with a high volume of employees
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Exemplary interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in a positive manner with global team members utilizing tact, diplomacy and compromise
Demonstrated superior organizational and time management skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and Acrobat) considered an asset
