We are looking for a Corporate Development & Finance professional. This professional will be a key finance partner on acquisitions with significant visibility and interaction with the senior leadership team at Enghouse. The ideal candidate enjoys diving deep into complex problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The selected candidate will be part of a small, collaborative team that values individuals who think creatively and proactively look for growth opportunities. They will be an independent thinker who can make convincing, data-based arguments.
What you would do:
Manage M&A transactions including due diligence, purchase accounting and project management of the integration of acquisitions, as well as post-acquisition monitoring
Develop comprehensive project plans for due diligence through to integration and manage all downstream implications to completion
Monitor acquisition goals and communicate performance updates to Accounting, Finance and Executive Leadership
Assess deal models and perform or review financial due diligence on potential acquisition targets
Evaluate synergistic opportunities and risks in potential transactions
Advise on financial risks and develop strategies and methods for risk mitigation during deal structuring and target negotiations
Develop and maintain Excel workbooks and financial models to facilitate the evaluation of opportunities
Skills / Knowledge
CPA / CA required
Advanced knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and rules and regulations
Experience with SaaS Metrics, MRR Rollforward, Churn, CAC/ACV and Lifetime Value to CAC
5+ years of technology business or corporate development experience, preferably in the Telecommunications Industry
Strong quantitative and analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, valuation, and business case building
Strong work ethic, with an effective combination of business acumen, sound decision-making, and a bias for action; ability to act in a decisive, urgent, and committed way to achieve results; remain focused on deliverables and leverage resources to reach goals
Ability to travel and work long hours as circumstances demand
Ability to participate in sensitive projects with absolute confidentiality
