Envision Education Looking for Primary School Classroom Assistant at Brent, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Are you looking for a Primary School Classroom Assistant position to support children? Have you had previous experience as a Primary School Classroom Assistant? Live in Brent?

We are working with a wonderful Primary School in Kingsbury who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them to support children in Year 1 and 5 class with challenging behaviour. This role is a fulltime position from Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 4pm.

Ideally you will have had previous experience with children in some capacity and must have a general understanding of what is required of you as a Teaching Assistant!

The Role

• Provide support to primary aged children with their learning as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• Preparing the classroom for lessons and tidying it up afterwards as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• Motivating and encouraging students to achieve their true potential as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• Support the teachers in different classes with preparing lessons and resources as a Primary School Classroom Assistant
• Work across different classes potentially depending on what the school

Requirements

• Available Immediately: Mon-Fri, 8.30am to 4pm!
• Previous experience working with children in a school or other setting is vital
• Willing to work with a child with Autism in a covered outdoor area within the school premises
• Available full time for ideally long term contracts
• Already have an Enhanced Child Only DBS or be willing to get one processed
