EPFC Corp is a diverse team of professionals with extensive experience in engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning and start-up. Although EPFC was formed in 2016, the company has an established history of successfully delivering projects in oil and gas for almost 20 years. EPFC has developed a fully integrated “Design Build” service model for our clients. The concept is simple. Our engineering, fabrication and construction divisions work in unison, collaborating from conceptual engineering through to final commissioning. With this model, we offer our clients a turnkey, lump sum proposal at the end of FEED. This approach has a unique combination of benefits that traditional models are unable to provide.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing & Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying and developing strategic business relationships with existing and potential clients. Working closely with the executive team, you will take the lead in the development of new business opportunities that support EPFC’s overall growth strategy. The growth strategy will be supported through the sales and marketing plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Seek new business opportunities by strengthening existing and developing new relationships with potential clients (Target clients).
• Support execution of strategic plan for business development.
• Generate new leads through client cold calls, emails and market research.
• Attend client/industry events as required to market EPFC capabilities.
• Develop strategy for client event sponsorship and attendance (ex. golf tournament hole sponsorships etc.).
• Plan quarterly client events.
• Ongoing client entertainment (lunches, sporting events, concerts, industry events etc.).
• Set-up meetings/presentations/lunch and learns between potential clients and EPFC discipline leads to extensively communicate EPFC capabilities and experience.
• Presenting information to clients in a boardroom setting.
• Identify client needs to offer insight to management on potential new revenue streams.
• Develop client service plan for key clients.
• Offer support with proposal strategies based on understanding of client needs.
• Seek out and provide client feedback on project performance and bid submissions (Market Intel).
• Work with Engineering & Process Solutions teams to develop strategy for trade show attendance and representation. Contribute to determining association memberships and sponsorship (ex. COAA, GPAC, PSAC etc.).
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives and identify support required. Develop marketing plan for prospect clients.
• Update and maintain marketing brochures, client presentations (Work with BD Graphic Designer/Third Party Marketing Resources).
• Develop plan for social media and advertising opportunities. Working with BD Graphic Designer or outsource if required.
• Coordinate purchase of EPFC merchandise for clients.
• Assist in preparation of annual business development budget.
• Meet or exceed annual revenue targets.
• Report monthly progress to management team. (CRM)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A well-established client network in the Calgary oil and gas service industry is a prerequisite.
• Existing network should be focused within Facilities engineering, fabrication and construction.
• 10-15 years of previous professional sales in an EPC environment is an asset.
• Degree in a related discipline or technical diploma from post-secondary institution.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain and grow client relationships and resulting business volume.
• Business and financial acumen.
• Professional Engineering designation and project management experience is an asset.
