Our Canadian client needs help in their NE outdoor equipment warehouse. They are looking for a Shipper/Receiver who has an interest in the Mountain Bike community to look after the busy warehouse, process orders, manage inventory and even assemble bikes as needed!
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience working in shipping and receiving, or a similar role
- Demonstrated interest in outdoor equipment and supplies would be well-regarded
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and comfortable working at heights
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are a must
- Comfortable working on a computer
- A self-starter with strong communication and customer service skills
- Mechanical inclination is a must have
Responsibilities:
- Review, complete and turn in daily paperwork for deliveries, pickups, and receiving
- Track incoming loads, communicating with suppliers
- Negotiate for most reliable and efficient shipping options
- Receive and sort incoming stock, inputting into the inhouse computer system
- Verify shipping information against invoices, POs, orders, and other records
- Other responsibilities as required
