Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and serving of meals, tea, coffee, cereal, toast, etc.
- Ensure that proper diets are given to the correct residents.
- Monitor eating habits for the welfare of guests.
- Work on trayline as needed.
- Assist guests with eating (cutting meat, cracking eggs, etc).
- Assist cook as required.
- Clean dinnerware, equipment, and dining/kitchen area thoroughly.
- A garbage disposal as required.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written) are a must.
- A high degree of concern for the quality of care for residents.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, stretching, and lifting heavy objects.
- Possesses or is willing to acquire Level 1 Food Safety Certification.
- Positive attitude and friendly demeanor toward guests and staff.
- Patient, flexible, and enjoy keeping busy between meal service.
- Must be agreeable to a criminal background check as part of the employment.
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 as well as current flu vaccine.
