Forklift Operator – Night Shift
Our client in the Freight industry is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join their team at their SE warehouse. They are getting busy and looking to bring on an operator for the night shift. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trailers, minimal hand-bombing required.
- Stage product to be loaded onto various docks.
- Identify and prepare orders for shipment, inspecting for any flaws or damage.
- Regular safety inspections of the forklift to ensure good working order.
- Work the overnight shift, 10 pm – 6:30 am, Sunday to Thursday.
Requirements:
- Proven proficiency in the counterbalance forklift.
- 2-3 years of forklift experience are preferred.
- Current forklift certification would be considered an asset.
- Experience loading and unloading trailers is preferred.
- Must be a good communicator and proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
- Must have steel-toed footwear.
