Responsibilities:
- Create production schedules
- Analyze work orders for accuracy
- Provide delivery dates for orders and quotes
- Screen production reports and compare to plans and schedules
- Release jobs for new designs into production through First Article process
- Release new customer orders
- Review material resources plans and identify issues with MRP, transfers, and raw materials
- Evaluate data and reports from production as necessary
- Schedule and manage the movement of materials
- Conduct cycle counts for finished goods
- Identify and analyze causes to losses of inventory
- Maintain accurate and adequate WIP inventory for various stocking programs
- Monitor raw material inventories and forecast demand
- Plan and schedule replenishment jobs
- Assist in troubleshooting purchasing issues
- Review and adjust MRP according to past and future demands / forecasts
Requirements:
- 1 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Highly organized and analytical
- Must be adept at working within tight deadlines, respond quickly to change
- Skilled in planning and coordinating
- Team-player, excellent communicator with demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working with MS Office Suite
