Reception& Office Administrator (Temporary)
Our client in BC is seeking an Office Administrator to support their office full-time on a temporary basis. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience looking to get back to work, build on their studies, or gain new work experience in Canada. Responsibilities include:
- Opening the office and preparing for the workday.
- Corresponding with clients via phone, and email, and greeting guests as they come in.
- Maintain the office schedule including meetings.
- Manage office supplies and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
- Provide administrative support to various departments, including the Regional Manager.
- Supporting with event management, data entry, filing, minute taking, and record keeping.
- Facilitate meetings including booking rooms, catering, coordinating audio equipment, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements include:
- Previous experience in a related position is required.
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business or a related discipline is an asset.
- Excellent customer service orientation: a people-person who likes to provide a positive experience to guests, clients, and colleagues.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint, and Word.
- Highly organized, with strong attention to detail.
- Energetic and flexible to help with different areas as needed.
