Our Exciting Opportunity
5G Physical Layer is the building foundation of 5G networks. It implements flexible multi-carrier waveforms (OFDMA), advanced multi-antenna solutions, and channel coding schemes for a wide range of services, deployments, and frequencies envisioned for 5G and beyond.
We are now looking for a Senior Software Designer to develop Physical Layer real-time embedded software on Ericsson 5G Cloud Native baseband products. Your role will include all related development activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, software design, integration, test automation and verification.
Our organization seeks to work closely with our customers, passionate about the delivery of virtualized RAN solutions.
You will:
- Design, implement and test software functionality related to 5G Physical Layer.
- Support development of real-time embedded physical layer.
- Design and implement Physical Layer test automation and validation.
- Perform system performance measurement to ensure efficient implementation.
- Identify system deficiencies and provide corrective actions.
- Ensure to complete design and development tasks within allotted timelines.
To be successful in the role you must have:
- A graduate of Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software design.
- Experience in LTE or NR physical layer
- Capable of working in a team environment
- Innovating, adapting, and responding to change
- Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.
- Planning and Organizing abilities
