Erne Construction Services is a well respected and established Staffing & Recruitment Agency in Vancouver, BC. We work with Canada’s largest construction companies to help them meet their project needs and schedule. Our clients work within the Commercial, Residential, Industrial and mixed-use sectors of the construction industry.
We are currently looking for Shoring Labourers to work on projects in Victoria and Nanaimo, Vancouver Island.
Job Responsibilities:
- Loading & unloading building materials and equipment as needed
- Preparing the site to eliminate potential hazards
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the site to ensure it is clear of waste and scrap material
- Provide daily labour support as directed by the Shoring Division on-site team
- Assisting in erecting and dismantling temporary structures as needed
- Operating as a productive member of a high functioning team to drive results
Qualifications::
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Safety knowledge and experience in construction industry
- Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted, and be fit to work
- Experience with basic power and construction tools
- Valid BC Driver’s license
- Shoring, anchoring and drilling knowledge an asset
- Ability to communicate in English, oral and written
