EventMobi is not your typical tech startup, and this is not a typical content marketing job. We could start by telling you how amazing your co-workers are and how they will support you day-in and day-out. We could go on about our amazing suite of products, but instead you should explore some of our customer stories on our website. Thousands of organizations around the world are using EventMobi’s event management platform to run engaging virtual and in-person conferences to bring about real change around the world. That’s the reason we do what we do, and we can’t wait for you to join us and help spread our message about event marketing, technology, experience and engagement.
Your track record is solid with 6+ years of relevant experience at a few other awesome B2B marketing teams. Ideally you have worked in a few other software or technology companies and know what it takes to build impactful B2B lead-gen funnels. Experience and understanding of hospitality, non-profit, association and event industry would be a nice to have but not required. In this role you will have tons of support and resources but will ultimately own content strategy and execution. You will set standards and processes for the rest of the team.
Compensation: $80k-$100k + Stock Option

3. About You and What We Need You To Do in This Role
You love writing, reading (and probably Netflix, but you can tell us more about that later!). You believe content marketing is about understanding your customers more than anything else. When you write, you think about what impact it will have on SEO, on lead gen, on conversion and ultimately how you can convince the reader to take action.
You also know well that Content Marketing is a team sport, and you have lots of besties that you work with — from graphic designers and video marketers, to demand gen and marketing automation smartie pants. The sales team is your secret weapon, you love listening to their calls and gathering insight from them so you can write better content that converts.
But you also have expectations from your company. First, you want a management team that believes in marketing, but also believes in you and your ideas. Secondly, you expect the company to set you up for success in your role with the right resources and ensure you can grow in your role. We all know it takes two to tango.

Own Strategy: Work closely with senior leaders, marketing teammates and other departments to create effective communications strategies that articulate our platform’s core benefits while educating customers on becoming experts at their jobs. Keeping in mind our core objectives of driving awareness, increasing traffic, improving conversions and helping sales close deals.
Conduct Research: Interview partners, prospects, customers and other third parties to ensure all content engages and offers value. Keep up with current industry trends and topics to ensure effective communications and monitor key competitor content strategies. Collaborate with product marketing to develop industry and role-based messaging and unique differentiating factors of EventMobi.
Lead Copywriting: Produce thought leadership content worthy of sharing directly or by guiding internal/external resources. Your content may take on any shape appropriate for the message and audience such as videos, white papers, blogs, webinars, press releases, email marketing messages, case studies, presentation content, survey reports, ads and web copy. When necessary, approve content produced by other team members and ensure all written content is consistent with EventMobi’s tone and mission.
Collaborate in Planning and Promotion: Develop and maintain editorial calendars and content project plans; push the business to adopt better content creation practices and optimize delivery strategy for each piece, by implementing best practices and testing of new content formats and distribution channels.
Improve Reporting: Work closely with SEO agency, PPC agency and Website admin to build and track benchmarks for measuring content success and ROI; continuously measure and improve content performance by leveraging SEMrush, Google Analytics and HubSpot. Provide regular updates to stakeholders, and determine metrics for ensuring effectiveness of marketing content.
Own Brand Language: Ensure that all communications adhere to brand and communication standards and are written in a consistent EventMobi “voice”.

VP of Product Marketing & Events (Thorben Grosser) who has a masters in events & marketing and also teaches his craft in various European universities. Thorben has been with EventMobi for almost 9 years and is the glue between product, sales and marketing teams. He also leads the Global Events strategy and team at EventMobi.
Dir of Marketing (Chrissy Gow) with over 15 years of experience in media, fashion, hospitality and travel marketing leads the content and operation teams. She has been with EventMobi for over 2 years and her team consists of Campaign Manager (North America), Marketing Manager (Europe), Senior Graphic Designer, Video Marketing Manager, Marketing Specialist, Website Manager, and Marketing Admin.
We also have an ongoing engagement with some of the best agencies, talented copywriters and industry experts in North America who are helping us to strategize and manage SEO/PPC, content, and take care of the technical side of our web assets.

2) Mobi Paradise & Mobi Cottage: The company will setup remote HQs in summer (Mobi Cottage), and in Winter (Mobi Paradise) for 2-4 weeks and employees can choose to work remotely in the temporary HQs and hangout with other coworkers.
