Everest Canadian Resources Corp. Looking for SAGD Warehouse Operator at Fort McMurray, AB Full Time

This is a full time, permanent or contract position based out of Everest Canadian Resources Corp.’s SAGD Facility. This is a site based position on a 4 days on and 3 days off or 7 days on and 7 days off rotation.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent will report to the Sr. Operations Manager and/or designate.

Responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Maintain warehouse services through creating, documenting and maintaining the Warehouse;
• Provide input on data warehouse hardware operations and ensure it is sized properly by working with Infrastructure and Operations;
• Work with Supply Chain Management and Operations to ensure that databases are working properly and other features required by the data warehouses are optimized;
• Execute service improvement plans and reporting that supports cost effective business operation, reporting compliance and senior management decision making;
• Use heavy equipment (cranes or forklifts), while complying with safety practices to move and store items;
• Carry out a physical inspection on incoming shipments, ensuring that all material is received in good order and the quantities received are verified against the packing slip;
• Organize material and storage designations for project requirements, ensuring the outer packaging clearly identifies the material with Tag #, PO # or Lot # and location;
• Comply with warehouse safety and environmental regulations and practices;
• Make suggestions and participate in the improvement of warehouse operations;
• Expedite shipments, follow up on undelivered goods and resolve problems and disputes;
• Follow warehouse best practices;
• Implement and support new warehouse applications that support inventory reporting/costs;
• Plan, execute and implement continuous improvement of warehouse services;
• Provide clear and consistent direction/guidance regarding day to day requirements, warehouse management and delivery services; and
• Other duties as required.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILL SET:

• In depth knowledge of warehouse duties and inventory controls;

• Knowledge of data warehouse best practices;
• Current with site mandatory training; First Aid/CPR and H2S Alive;
• Ability to resolve expediting problems and disputes; and
• Must be legally permitted to work in Canada.
