(1)-Term Cashier-Part Time (24-32 hours/week) Term May 3 to September 3, 2023
LOCATION: Grocery Department, Rocky Mountain House, AB
Reporting to the Grocery Manager, the Senoir Cashier completes tasks supporting the day to day activity of the grocery department. The successful candidate must be available to work, days, evenings, and weekends.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing exceptional member service with a positive, professional approach and attitude toward customers
Being dependable for all scheduled shifts
Processing member transactions in a timely, efficient and accurate manner
Performing cash out procedures
Operating the till with accuracy
Maintaining a neat, clean and orderly location at all times by using good housekeeping standards
Performing any other duties as requested
Adhering to all Evergreen Cooperative Association policies and procedures and participate in the Health and Safety program
This position requires a significant amount of static standing, frequent and constant lifting, bending, and stretching.
We are ideally seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
Strong customer service skills
Organizational skills and great time management
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to work independently in a team environment
Previous retail and cash experience would be an asset
Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service
Sense of urgency
Ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted
