Evolution Wheel is looking for an individual to join our team who can fill the role of a Controller. This person will work with the company’s owner and managers to assist in making sure daily and weekly financial, human resources and shipping/receiving tasks are kept on track. Having a strong attention to detail and being able to manage your time effectively will be the keys to success in this position.
Job Activities
– Enter sales orders into QuickBooks online and processing payments
– Entering expenses into QuickBooks online
– Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
– Filing monthly and quarterly remittances
– Ensuring that the companies sales metric tracking documents are kept up to date
– Ensuring that all employee timesheets are accurate and kept up to date for payroll preparation
– Ensuring that the companies payables and receivables are kept up to date
– Handling the company’s human resources needs
– Developing and implementing office policies and procedures
– Managing recruitment for new hires and onboarding new employees
– Researching and applying for government funding programs
– Generating shipments and shipping documents for customer orders
– Reviewing the companies project planning system on a daily basis to ensure that tasks are being completed on time
Requirements
– Business administration degree, diploma, certificate, or equivalent experience with a strong finance skillset.
– Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
– Ability to multi-task
– Outstanding attention to detail
– Great work ethic
– Exceptional data entry/keying skills
Salary – Will vary based on candidates experience and ability.
