Expansion Looking for Bookkeeper at Greater Toronto Area, Canada Full Time

Position Overview:

We seek a talented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our finance team and play a key role in financial management. As an Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions
• Prepare budget forecasts and financial statements
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Publish financial statements on time
• Assist with audits and tax filings
• Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Monitor financial transactions and reports for accuracy
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within the gaming or tech industry, with 5 or more years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office, especially Excel
• Experience with USA accounting
• Focus on achieving results, adaptability to non-traditional working hours, and full-time commitment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred, but not required:

CPA certification is a plus
