Extreme Fabricators Ltd is hiring welders for multiple active and upcoming construction projects.
Qualifications:
- 1st year welding apprentice as a minimum, and must pass shop weld test
- Experience in the reading of shop drawings – knowledge of weld sizes
- CWB Certification, would be an asset
- A good understanding of welding techniques and procedures
- Direct experience in the steel fabrication industry as it applies to all or most of the aspects fabrication
- A practical background, with a sound knowledge of the trade
- A strong attention to detail
- Self-motivation
- Willingness and ability to work overtime (when required) to help meet project deadlines
- Ability to work with others as a team
- MUST be able to work in field and shop
- MUST be able to work work out of town when required
Asset
- Required Tickets/Certificates: WHIMIS, Fall Protection, Valid Driver License
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
