Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Mississauga, ON for a Junior Estimator. The Junior Estimator will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as estimating project costs, preparing proposals, conducting site visits, analyzing blueprints and specifications, coordinating with project managers, and assisting in project scheduling and planning.
Qualifications
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
- Knowledge of construction materials and techniques
- Experience in estimating project costs, quantity take-offs, and labor/material pricing
- Proficiency in using estimation software and tools
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Degree or diploma in construction management or related field is a plus
