Farnsworth Construction Ltd. Looking for Skilled Construction Labourer at Belleville, ON Full Time

Job based out of STIRLING with travel to jobsites throughout the Quinte Area and Prince Edward County. Driver’s License required. This is a full time position.

Skilled construction labourer for new home construction. Specific duties include: job site clean up (sweeping/vacuuming job sites); exterior site clean-ups; shovel gravel and raking/grading gravel; basic carpentry tasks, using skillsaw, drill, nail gun, ladder as needed; inspect construction heaters and basic equipment servicing; moving materials; signage set up at different sites; etc.

Must be physically fit, hard working and a team player.

Must be reliable and organized, able to take initiative, work alone/independently with little instruction. Independently problem solve and obtain required materials for tasks. Adaptable on short notice to changing priorities and daily tasks.

Good communication skills are required to coordinate with site manager and others working on sites. Organized and diligent with paperwork and following ALL health & safety procedures.

Construction knowledge required. Basic construction training such as working at heights an asset. Experience in construction or farming an asset. Own vehicle, cell phone and safety equipment needed (hard hat, safety boots, etc.)
