Federated Co-operatives Limited Looking for Accounts Payable Clerk at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada Full Time

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk on a temporary basis on our Corporate Accounting team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

What you’ll do:
– Receive and respond to supplier correspondence in a timely manner.
– Work closely with FCL commodities and suppliers to ensure accurate receiving and matching and address discrepancies.
– Prepare journal entries and payable adjustments as required.
– Reconcile accounts payable clearing accounts monthly.
– Other duties as required.
Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will work as part of a team with other Accounts Payable Clerks and will report into the Accounting Supervisor. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration and inclusivity while striving together to meet a common goal.
The Collaborators: You will work closely with four other Accounts Payable Clerks and collaborate across the organization with teams such as the matching team, buyers, and suppliers.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in accounting and:
– Have a high school diploma and an introductory accounting course from an accredited post-secondary institution. Individuals with a high school diploma and one year of relevant accounting experience will also be considered.
