Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the positions of Full Time Seasonal Clerk/Cashier, May 5– October 4, 2024 at our Food/Convenience Store in Emma Lake, SK.

Reporting to the Food Store Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
• Engage and interact with guests to create a positive shopping experience- in person, on the telephone and at the point of sale
• Provide Legendary service; serve guests, operate the point-of-sale system, dispense propane when required, stock & face shelves and perform general housekeeping duties
• Ensure safety is held to the highest priority
• Complete all necessary daily reconciliations and reports as required
• To be familiar with and adhere to all Lake Country Co-op policies and procedures and be responsible in the areas of loss prevention
• Seasonal duties may be required at “Bear Country Fudge”
• Other duties as assigned

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Customer Service:
• You have customer service experience especially in the CRS would be considered an asset
• 19 years of age would be an asset however not a requirement
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results orientated, and strive to be the best in the work that you do
• You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
• You’re attentive to detail and have strong cash management skills
• You have POS experience and have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
• You have an ability to fulfill physical job requirements – standing, working inside and outside, lifting 20 to 25 pounds regularly
• You must be willing to obtain WHMIS and propane dispensing and Serve it Right certification if required
• You have a flexible work schedule including days, weekends and evenings
