What you will do:
Under the guidance of the Office Manager, the Office Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various administrative and accounting functions. Duties in the areas of purchases, sales, inventory, and reconciliations will include:
– Customer Service
– Processing Accounts Payable
– Assist in the preparation of monthly accounting records and statements.
– Assist with internal audits for departments.
– Creating appropriate journal entries for general ledger accounts
– Assist with reconciliations and preparation of financial statements.
– Work closely with all team members to ensure compliance on financial reporting and reconciliation requirements.
– Correspond and interact within the association and with outside contacts such as external auditors and suppliers.
– Other accounting and office related duties as required.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and have:
– Excellent customer service skills
– Data entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail.
– Experience and/or education in administration or business field.
– Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and applications
– Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
– Professional written and verbal communication skills
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Good team building, communication, and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
