What you’ll do:
The successful candidate is responsible for delivering excellent customer service; providing leadership to all yard Team Members; the organization, co-ordination, direction and cleanliness of the yard and yard warehouses areas under their jurisdiction. Core duties will include, but are not limited to:
– Fill orders and receive freight as required.
– Keep Team Leaders informed of inventory problems relating to wrong identifications, discrepancies, adjustments, out-of-stock items, overstocked or slow-moving items and other problem areas.
– Assist in the proper care and maintenance of all department equipment and maintain cleanliness and order of merchandise in the yard.
– Perform onboarding and orientation with all new yard Team Members including training, developing and supervising Team Members.
– To set an example to other Team Members by strict adherence to personnel policies and departmental procedures.
– Perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You’re looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and:
– You have excellent customer service skills, communication skills and the ability to problem solve.
– You have previous leadership experience.
– You have a class 5 driver’s license.
– You have the ability to operate heavy duty equipment while ensuring safety rules and regulations are followed; familiarity with National Safety Code would be considered an asset.
– You can fulfill physical job requirements – manual labour and occasional heavy lifting is required.
– You are able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings and weekends.
– You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
– You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
