We are looking for an Intermediate Software Developer, 5G Wireless (Full-time and Contract) for Ottawa and surrounding areas, Montreal and Gatineau. In this position, you will be responsible for: *

• Designing, coding, reviewing, and verifying software for 5G RAN, V-RAN, and O-RAN based products.
• Implementing embedded software functions using C/C++ on a multicore MPSoC or processor, including wireless communications technologies and protocols.
• Creating software designs that operate in a cloud-based architecture.
• Following methods to develop high quality code and clear documentation while operating in an Agile development environment.

Requirements*

• 5+ years of industry experience designing software in real time applications
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, RF design, or equivalent
• Solid understanding with 5G NR, 5G RAN, O-RAN, V-RAN, CPRI/eCPRI, front haul or other wireless technologies is an asset.
• Experience with LTE, 3G/4G/5G, 3GPP, network slicing, channel coding or SDN is an asset.
• Background working in a team using Agile processes and tools.
