ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Bookkeeper at Fièra Cosmetics, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping. Reporting into our Controller, you will be responsible for tasks ranging from account reconciliation to handling HST reconciliation for CDN/US sales tax. If you have 1-2 years of experience, preferably in Quickbooks, and are familiar with Shopify and the e-commerce space, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct daily bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling accounts.
• Handle HST reconciliation for CDN/US sales tax.
• Perform data entry and account reconciliation.
• Settle sales tax in both the US and Canada.
• Create Purchase Orders and reconcile sales.
• Collaborate with our Controller and other team members to ensure accurate financial records.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• College diploma or undergraduate degree in accounting, business, commerce, or equivalent.
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Quickbooks.
• Strong IT skills, including MS Office.
• Effective time management and attention to detail.
• Organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• BONUS: Experience with Shopify and e-commerce is a plus!
