Position Overview:
The IT Asset Coordinator role is responsible for preparing, managing and controlling all IT assets (PCs, Printers and IT accessories) throughout their life cycle, from acquisition through to final disposition in region. This role has accountability for ensuring inventory is managed and tracked in Service Now and physically secure before being shipped out to end user or branch location.

C & Printer Deployments – (50%)
C & Printer Deployments – (50%)
- Work with PC, printer and IT accessory vendors (Dell, Lexmark)
- Responsible for client assets including, but not limited to, laptops, monitors, printers, miscellaneous peripherals.
- Assist in the tracking and management of all IT asset throughout its operating life.
- Authorize vendor change orders – purchases, moves & buyouts
- Collaboration with internal departments to meet their PC & printing needs
- Investigate and recovery of dark devices
- Report off-line printer page counts for billing purposes & toner deliveries
- Continuous Process Improvement
Accessory Management Requests & Incidents (20%)
- Inventory validation – corrections and updates
- Investigate unused & missing devices
- Accountable to ensure that IT assets are delivered and received by the end user
- Accountable to ensure that IT assets are replaced or retired depending on lease end dates or end of life
- Arrange lease return or recycle PC and printer hardware
- Responsible for all requests related to deployment of printers including submitting requests for IP reservations and print queue names
- Investigate & resolve non-reporting device/printer (NRD’s) issues
- Investigate & resolve failure in consumable deliveries
Service Now ITAM (30%)
- Responsible to update and keep track of IT assets in Service Now
- Incidents & Requests Queue Management
- Maintain inventory in Service Now of deployed hardware
- Process PC, Printer and accessory requests in Service Now
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of ITIL best-practice operational processes
- Knowledge Base (KB) and Service Request (SR) creation and updates
Qualifications for the role:
- Minimum 3 years office experience
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications with an emphasis in Excel, Outlook and Word
- Strong knowledge on Service Now Incidents, Requests and Asset Management
- Proven ability to work in a demanding work environment and unsupervised
- Knowledge of Service Now
- ITIL Certification
