Our EPHS team travels to some of the most beautiful locations on the planet. Working in communities with our nations to deliver the Safe Drinking Water Program, housing assessments, food safety, and other core environmental public health programs. This is an exciting opportunity to live, work, and play in the Interior Region serving the Secwépemc first peoples of Interior.
Title: Environmental Health Officer
Salary: $39,897 – $48,540 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permament Part Time (0.5 FTE)
Hours: Flexible 3 days a week. Core Hours 9 am to 3pm .
Location: Secwépemc – Kamloops, B.C.
Bargaining Unit: PSAC Local 22000 (Public Service Alliance of Canada)
About The Role
As Environmental Health Officer, you will – travel to some of the most beautiful locations on the planet. Work in communities with our nations to assist our nations and deliver the Safe Drinking Water Program, housing assessments, food safety, communicable disease control, emergency management and other core environmental public health programs. This position is a part time (0.5 FTE)

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours.
As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
