As a recruiter who understands the value of relationships, you will lead talent acquisition initiatives within the Human Resources team. Your experience targeting audiences on social media and traditional platforms allows you to generate interest and develop a robust followership of ideal candidates. You will bring your energy and enthusiasm for health and fitness to develop partnerships with relevant industries and organizations, and attend external career fairs/networking opportunities. You will partner with Marketing to create recruitment campaigns that communicate Fitness World’s employer brand and inspire team members to share this with their networks.
Responsibilities
Administer talent acquisition initiatives to increase our followership of prospective qualified candidates.
Prepare and manage a monthly social media recruitment calendar, align content with external events/holidays and internal campaigns/events.
Write compelling content for social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & Twitter) that defines and highlights our employer band and value proposition.
Socialize career opportunities and the employer brand by sharing team members career and personal success stories.
Establish partnerships and relationships within the health and fitness industry, certification programs, colleges, universities, etc.
Plan and attend external and internal job fairs; generate awareness within the clubs and online through social media and other online job boards.
Co-manage the Applicant Tracking System (ATS):
Work with the Human Resources Manager to optimize the ATS.
Monitor the candidate pipeline, ensure a positive candidate experience by monitoring response and status conversation.
Adjust job postings to ensure qualified candidates are available to the club management team.
Support Head Office managers and senior managers with candidate evaluations and scheduling.
Prepare various reports on talent acquisition efforts.
Education & Qualifications
One year of experience in recruitment; recruitment agency experience preferred
Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Communication, Marketing Management, etc.
Experience building and implementing social media and traditional platforms strategies
Exceptional ability to write compelling and persuasive content for social media and blogs
Excellent relationship-management and networking skills to attract qualified candidates
Highly organized, able to work effectively and independently to meet deadlines
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word)
Experience working with WordPress an asset
