The Opportunity

Our Housekeepers, based at the Fogo Island Inn, are responsible for the care and cleaning of guest rooms and general spaces and responsible for the duties assigned and scheduled to them by the supervisor including laundry and turn down services

What You’ll Do

· Service/clean rooms according to established procedures

· Exhibit Fogo Island hospitality in guest interactions

· Wash laundry and tidy laundry room (guest and Inn), maintain tidiness of laundry room

· Check and clean public washrooms and public areas of the Inn regularly

· Clean interior windows

· Perform turndown service

· Clean staff room and other areas as required

· Other responsibilities as necessary to enhance the guest experience

Qualifications you’ll bring

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to excel in a deadline orientated environment

· Sensitivity to the history and culture of rural Newfoundland.

Salary: $15.00-$25.00 per hour
