Are you an experienced Security Officer or Security Mobile Patrol Driver with a valid BC Security Worker’s License looking to work with a dedicated, Vancouver Island-based team?

Security Guard – General Responsibilities:
Observe, record, and report activities and security incidents while on shift;

Ensure client property and personnel are secure and follow site-specific instructions;

Conduct foot patrols, including standing and walking for long periods of time;

Provide exceptional customer service to clients and the public;

Provide a security presence in various settings;

Escalating any safety concerns to store management;

React and resolve any emergency situations as directed;

Required Qualifications and Skills:
A valid BC Security Worker’s License is required;

Full time availability: Monday – Friday, 10.30 AM – 7.30 PM

Ability to use computers and smartphones with ease;

Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing;

Ability to write clear and concise incident reports;

Must be physically fit with the ability to stand and walk patrols, climb stairs, etc;

A calm demeanor and sound decision-making skills;

Outstanding dress and deportment;

Previous retail security is considered a strong asset;
