Foremost Industries has an immediate opening for a Customer Support Representative (Parts Sales), located at our facility in Calgary, Alberta. This position is responsible for placing new customer Parts orders, following up on existing orders, confirming the availability of inventory and responding to pricing inquiries in support of our customers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and troubleshoot the following:
- Develop internal and external customer relationships with a commitment to provide prompt sales and service
- Take complete ownership of your parts order process, providing price and delivery quotations, entering parts orders, provide shipping and international customs documentation, ensuring quotations and orders arrive accurately to meet our customer commitments
- Manage your sales backlog ensuring we keep the backlog current, may require chasing of the parts through the manufacturing or procurement processes, walking the shop floor
- Track and follow-up on lost sale opportunities
- Utilize product catalogues online and hard copy reference material as required, ability to read engineering drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematics
- Provide after-hour parts service 24/7 when scheduled
- Participate in Company Training as required
- Limited travel as required to customer locations in support of customer requirements and relationships
- Take direction from Senior Customer Support Representative with respect to
- o Quotations, part sales, shipping and international customs requirements where needed
- o Pricing mark ups
- o Research data in order to make a sale
- Advise Part Sales Supervisor of any trends
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous Heavy duty truck or industrial manufacturing industry experience would be considered an asset
- Ability to multitask, to navigate multiple systems
- Ability to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Detail oriented in order to maintain the highest level of accuracy, ensuring customer parts requests are handled quickly and accurately
- Communication listen, understand customers through two-way engagement in order to respond to parts related requests and where needed provide recommendations and solutions
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
