About you

We are looking for a Software Implementation Specialist with prior experience in configuring and testing SaaS-based products. You are comfortable in owning and implementing the rollout of the product in new geographical locations. You will take ownership and not let it go until it’s done. You are persistent and have a strong analytical mindset to understanding the process to improve.
About the role
Foxquilt is a leading Insurance technology company focused on empowering small businesses and B2B networks to save on small business insurance. We’re introducing new products to the market that finally provide businesses with greater value and buying power. We are rapidly expanding our geographic footprint across North America. The implementation specialist will configure and test new software and product configuration launches in new markets, working together with the Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and QA engineers. Prior experience Implementing Commercial Lines Insurance products or equivalent experience would be ideal for this position.
Location: Toronto, Ontario or Charlotte, North Carolina -based (hybrid work environment, 1-2 days in-office, 3-4 days remote)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements for both functional and primarily technical requirements. Ability to understand the current process, and implement changes.
- Analyze existing issues and the source of the problems. Collaborate with Developers and BA’S to help identify solutions for the existing issues.
- Configure & Implement the product: customize configuration requirements to launch new products, services, and different geographical locations.
- Lead & Own end-to-end process from designing, testing and launching the product.
- Receive ongoing direction, coaching, and career guidance
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any other College degree with relevant work experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in web Software system development, Software Implementation or a similar role in a SaaS business
- Commercial Lines, P&C Insurance industry or equivalent experience would be valuable
- Strong technical expertise in configuring JSON, CSV, XML
- Managing cloud serverless deployments with AWS Lambda/API & Gateway/S3/ Cloudfront
- Knowledge using MongoDB

- Strong written & verbal communication skills in managing stakeholders expectations
- Good interpersonal skills to collaborate with BA and understand log messages
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Good attitude and aptitude to learn
