At Fresh Tracks Canada, we specialize in creating personalized vacations to Canada allowing
customers to create their own unique experience! This is a full-time junior accountant position. The
position is currently hybrid; both in office and work from home. It is a great opportunity to work with a
great team that consistently promotes growth and excellence in both your day to day work and outside
personal hobbies. Team skills are critical as you will be supporting the Accounting and Finance team on
a everyday basis, a long with other departments within the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Process client’s payments, issuing supplier payments as requested, recording and applying AR receipts an
AP payments.
Assist with month end procedures (general ledger adjustments, bank/credit card
reconciliations, year-end work and ad-hoc accounting duties).
Perform budget variance analysis, reconciliations and assist Sr accountants in posting journal entries.
Process expense reimbursements.
Assist with various accounting initiatives.
Maintain physical and virtual filing systems and databases.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Completion of Finance/Accounting Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree is considered an asset.
At least 1-2 years of fullcycleaccounting – General knowledge of GAAP and ASPE practices, tax, legislation and resources.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office 365.
Intermediate knowledge of accounting software; QuickBooks knowledge is considered an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Strong sense of ethics and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Ability to handle multiple demand and manage deadlines effectively
