Job Summary

Reporting to the DCM, a Human Resources and Recruitment Officer is responsible for undertaking a variety of human resources, recruitment and other administrative duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications
· Excellent and advanced working knowledge in MS Office
· Excellent organizational skills with ability to multi-task.
· Ability to complete work in a timely manner with accuracy and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
· Good judgment and ability to prioritize assignments.
· Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm focus during hectic periods.
· Understanding of the services provided by the Company.
· Ability to exhibit a professional attitude and image with a commitment to quality service.
· Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate and interact with all individuals with integrity, empathy, and sincerity.
· A positive attitude and customer focused approach.
Education and Experience Requirements
· Minimum of 5 years in Human Resources
· Minimum of 2 years of recruitment in a high-volume environment
Duties and Responsibilities
· identify current and prospective staffing requirements
· Prepare and post notices and advertisements
· Collect and screen applicants
· Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
· Review candidate inventories
· Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
· Co-ordinate and participate in selection of candidates
· Conduct reference checks
· Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
· Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
· Create and implement effective onboarding plans
· Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
· Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training
· Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems
· Provide counseling on policies and procedures
· Develop training and development programs
· Assist in performance management processes
· Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
· Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
· Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
Other related duties as required
Salary and Benefits
The pay rate for this position is $25.48 – $29.30/hour with 2 weeks’ Vacation and an Employee Health Benefit plan
