In 1954, Vincenzo Zaurrini and his brother Angelo accomplished their dream of opening the first grocery store in Montreal dedicated to Italian flavours and products. Throughout the years, Vincenzo never ceased to innovate by introducing new, high quality products, thus allowing Milano to become an essential supermarket with more than 70 employees and an incredible variety of food specialties imported from Italy.
Located in the heart of Little Italy, Milano is more than a grocery store, it is above all a family business that has preserved the traditional values and culture. For several generations of customers, Milano is the symbol of Italian agri-food excellence, and a favorite meeting place, making it an integral part of their weekly habits, and where they feel at home.
Since 2011, Vincenzo’s children, Celia and Mario, have taken over and adapted their father’s vision: to offer the best authentic Italian products, to be at the forefront of what is being done to offer their customers innovative Made in Italy, high quality products, and to give their customers a unique experience, plunging them into the flavors and tastes of Italy.
About The Position, Obligations, Conditions
We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Administrative assistants perform a variety of administrative duties such as:
Answer phones and greet visitors;
Schedule appointments and maintain calendars;
Schedule and coordinate staff and other meetings;
Collate and distribute mail;
Prepare communications, such as memos, emails, invoices, reports and other correspondence;
Write and edit documents from letters to reports and instructional documents;
Order office supplies and maintain inventory;
Create and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical;
Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping;
Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office;
Administrative Assistants candidates need to have a range of interpersonal skills, technical skills, and industry knowledge to perform their duties efficiently, share accurate information and help their team meet goals in a timely manner. Some of the key skills required include:
