WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

The Sales Representative will report to our Sales Manager and will be tasked with achieving agreed sales targets by developing, maintaining and managing new business throughout the Ontario (Northern Ontario) territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics in order to generate, qualify, and close leads to deliver on growth targets
• Plan customer calls and visits to provide the appropriate level of service to existing and new customers
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders across Key Accounts, Smart Services, Credit, Finance, Customer Service and Operations in order to successfully growth share of wallet and roll out new business
• Develop strong networks and expertise within the metalworking/industrial automotive industry to gain knowledge and leads
• Increase the value for existing Fuchs customers through up-selling and cross-selling

· Manage territory forecast and inventory

• Ability to operate within a CRM system such as SalesForce to ensure sales activity is managed and up to date (funnel management)
• Special assignments, projects or tasks as assigned by the Manager
• Present a professional image to our clients and prospects

• Experience using customer relationship management (CRM) systems is an asset (i.e., Salesforce)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, make decisions with good judgment, think strategically to identify opportunities, and lead initiatives within a self-directed project team.

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Chemistry, or Business preferred
• At least 5 years of sales experience in industrial consumable products. Experience in the Lubricants, Chemicals, or Metal Processing industries preferred
• Previous experience in creating and executing client account plans with a focus on solution-selling
• Demonstrated success in rolling out new business and delivering on growth targets
• Solid understanding of direct selling concepts along with product and industry knowledge

WORK CONDITIONS

• This position requires the successful candidate to operate from their home office
• This position will cover a defined territory in Ontario (Northern Ontario)
• The successful candidate must be based in Ontario
• A company vehicle allowance program is provided
• This position includes both base salary and commission based on annual targets
• Travel (~ 50%) will be required to manage and grow this sales territory
• Occasional travel to the U.S for training and sales meetings
