TELEPHONE FUNDRAISER

Are you looking to work in the non-profit sector with opportunities for advancement? We are currently recruiting full-time and part-time telephone fundraising specialists that are looking for a fulfilling and challenging role.

Fundraising Direct is a marketing and fundraising agency based in Montreal. At FD, we work with incredible and game-changing charities and non-profits like UNICEF Canada, the Canadian Red Cross, Médecins sans Frontières (Doctors without Borders), Greenpeace, and World Wildlife Fund, just to name a few.

If you answered yes to the questions above, we have the position for you! We are seeking individuals who are highly proficient in English and/or French. Ideally you would have 1+ year of call center, sales, or face-to-face fundraising experience, although this is not required.

Requirements to apply

• Must be a resident of either Quebec or Ontario.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a personal computer with a Windows Operating System.
• Must have a high speed internet connection ( 40+ mbps download / 20+ mbps upload / Less than 20 ping )

SCHEDULING & AVAILABILITY

Full-time – Must be available to work 33 hours per week for full time.

Part-time – Must be available to work 21 hours per week for part time.

Core shifts are Monday-Friday, 1:30-5:00 pm / 5:30-9:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am-1:30 pm / 2:00-5:30 pm

50% of shifts must be scheduled during evenings and/or weekends.

Must be available to attend 3 days of paid training Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 11 am to 5 pm. Working hours are flexible but the training schedule is not.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIRED

Candidates must have their own personal laptop or PC equipped with Windows 10, access to high-speed internet, and a headset with a USB connection and a microphone.

Please note that at the present time we cannot accept candidates who work on iMac, MacBooks, or Google Chromebooks. You MUST have a Windows Operating System.

Applicants invited for an interview will be required to complete a short assessment on our training platform Learning Branch. Those that score well may be able to proceed directly to training after a short Q&A session with our recruitment team. Those scoring in the intermediate range will be invited for an interview for a test read using a sample script for one of our clients. All applicants invited to paid training will be asked to meet with a member of our technical support team for about 15-20 minutes of unpaid time before training begins to ensure you system is compatible with ours and that all applications required for remote work are functioning well.

Fundraisers work 100% from home with no need to come into the office for the interview, training, or once hired.
