Payroll Specialist is responsible to perform duties necessary for the accurate calculation of wages, maintenance of records, distribution of payroll reports, withheld monies for hourly weekly payroll and maintain employee files as well performing various accounting and office administrative tasks.
Job Responsibilities
Education and Skill Requirement
· Certificate of Canadian Payroll Compliance Practitioner
· University or College degree preferable
· At least 5 years’ hands-on payroll experience
· ADP experience preferable
· Practical accounting experience preferable
. Enrollment in CPA program will be an asset
· Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential material
· Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize jobs, and be highly organized
