Job Description
The Director of Operations for the Pacific team will be responsible for the total activities of the region, ensuring we acquire, prepare, and deploy resources to meet and exceed our client service expectations. The Director of Operations will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership qualities in the management of the region, to be a positive team player and influence when interacting with peers and direct reports, and to display a high level of professional and ethical conduct in all interactions with both external and internal customers.
Responsibilities Will Include
- Provide leadership and direction to a team of security professionals
- Mentor and empower teams to strive for a culture of excellence
- Develop and implement plans for operational infrastructure, change management and special projects
- Partner with Regional Directors and Managers to foster a positive internal culture, health, safety and environment
- Engage with clients to provide customer service excellence
- Liaise and build relationship with community stakeholders
- Work with the business development team on strategic growth
- Manage continual operational improvement and identify best practices to achieve budget
Job Requirements
- Minimum 7 to 10 years in Management environment in security services or related field
- Threat and risk assessment experience
- Post-secondary degree or ASIS/CPP certification will be a major asset
- Advance knowledge of Customer Relationship Management software
- Experience with business development will be an asset
- Ability to work closely with our Union partners
