Job Description Summary
The Vice President Operations, Caption Care will envision, operationalize, and execute on a forward-looking Service Delivery Strategy for the Caption Care business offering. This role will include hands-on project management, will require building on the established implementation process, as well as managing a cross-functional implementation team as a player, a coach, and process improvement lead. This role will work very closely with the Caption Care Commercial, Clinical, Product, and Engineering teams in alignment with the commercial lifecycle. This position reports to the Chief Growth Officer for the SBU.
The Vice President Operations, Caption Care must demonstrate clear strategic thinking, a strong capability to work cross-functionally across organizations, and an aptitude for driving implementation activity with a strong awareness for full commercial value proposition. In addition, this individual must work both externally with customers/partners at a senior level and interface with internal functional teams to deliver a high-quality service delivery methodology in a fast-paced, challenging, and creative environment.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
In this role you will:
Oversee and effectively manage the end-to-end implementation process, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgeting, to ensure successful client deployment.
Lead and manage a team of implementation and product application specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring.
Liaise with internal sales team and clients to define project requirements, provide guidance on implementation strategies, and manage expectations throughout the deployment process.
Review, analyze, and address gaps in service excellence, policies, and/or procedures proactively; identify issues and implement solutions.
Define success metrics, executive dashboards, and operational targets.
Develop and control operating budgets, working closely with Finance.
Directs the operational flow of services and processes to maximize client and patient value to gain a competitive advantage.
Identify opportunities for improvement and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Ensure customer focus by communicating and building rapport with customers as required and ensuring the “voice of the customer” is reflected in all service delivery solutions delivered.
Manage stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various levels of the organization including leadership and executives.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Public Health or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math).
A minimum of 10 years of strategic and tactical operational planning/delivery experience with a heavy emphasis on customer delivery and customer satisfaction, ideally in healthcare delivery, with a proven track record of successful implementations (OR Master’s degree with 8 years of experience).
Eligibility Requirements:
This position is based in the United States only. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE HealthCare may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills.
Must be willing to travel as required.
Desired Characteristics:
Demonstrated experience in healthcare delivery, deep understanding of service delivery applications, resourcing management and workflow solutions, ideally within the digital healthcare market and more specifically, value-based care organizations.
Familiarity with relevant healthcare regulations and standards relating to in-clinic and at-home healthcare environments, ultrasound market dynamics, and customer needs is a plus.
Recommends allocation of budget to meet product or business success.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans.
Change oriented – actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities, developing, and implementing operational standards and processes and executes accordingly.
Excellent team player, experience leading and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including taking a holistic perspective, objectively compares multiple tradeoffs, and empathizes with multiple points of view.
Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal). Able to effectively present/ articulate stakeholders at all levels and organize team to attain shared goals.
Evidence of creating processes that build scale and drive growth.
Self-starter – requires minimal direction to accomplish goals, energized and energizing others to do the same.

The salary range for this position is $176,000.00 – 220,000.00 USD Base. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus. Available benefits include health, welfare, retirement and paid leave.
